An international team of astronomers has discovered the coldest star detected so far outside the solar system, about 75 light years from Earth, said today in a statement the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS).  It is a brown dwarf star that is part of a binary system named CFBDSIR 1458 +10 and has a temperature of 100 degrees Celsius, the same as the boiling water and similar to a sauna.
